Mobile Number Updation in Vahan Portal

Electronic Challan Delivery: The government officially authorizes SMS, WhatsApp, and e-mail as valid electronic means of communication to serve motor vehicle challans.

Mandatory Update for Owners: All vehicle owners must update their mobile numbers and e-mail addresses on the Vahan portal (http://vahan.parivahan.gov.in).

Deadline: Owners are given a grace period of one month from the date of the notification's publication to update their details.

Legal Implications: After the one-month period expires, any challan sent via SMS, WhatsApp, or e-mail to the contact details registered on the Vahan portal will be legally deemed as successfully served to the vehicle owner.

తప్పనిసరి అప్‌డేట్: వాహన యజమానులందరూ తమ ప్రస్తుత మొబైల్ నంబర్లను మరియు ఈ-మెయిల్ ఐడీలను నోటిఫికేషన్ వచ్చిన తేదీ నుండి ఒక నెల వ్యవధిలోపు వాహన్ పోర్టల్‌లో (http://vahan.parivahan.gov.in) తప్పనిసరిగా అప్‌డేట్ చేసుకోవాలి.

చట్టపరమైన చెల్లుబాటు: ఒక నెల గడువు ముగిసిన తర్వాత, వాహన్ పోర్టల్‌లో నమోదైన మీ మొబైల్ నంబర్ లేదా ఇమెయిల్‌కు (SMS/WhatsApp/e-mail ద్వారా) పంపబడిన చలాన్లు అధికారికంగా మీకు అందినట్లుగా (Served) పరిగణించబడతాయి.

1. First visit on official webpage
2. Select Criteria from Dropdown (Lerner License / Driving License / Conductor License)
3. Select Driving License
4. Enter Driving License Details
• Driving License Number
• Date of Birth
• Captcha
• Click on Submit Button
5. Enter Aadhar Number
• and Click on Generate OTP Button
• Enter OTP (Received your Register Mobile Number)
• Click on Three Check Box's
• Click on Authenticate Button
6. Display your Details once verify and click o Proceed Button
7. Showing your License Details
   
• License Holder Name
• License Number
• Birth Date
• Existing Mobile Number (if Available)
8. Click on Proceed Button
9. Enter New Mobile Number
10. Confirm Mobile Number
11. Click on Proceed Button
• OTP Sent to your Mobile Number
12. Enter OTP 
13. Click on Verify Button
14. Successfully Updated your Mobile number with Driving License
